25271067 is an automaton mechanism and a series of knitted sculptures built using medical gauze, a material that is used to cover and protect wounds. This set of pieces resembles a body in deconstruction, and refers  to the taxonomy of the human skeleton as a metaphorical sign of its presence and absence. The mechanism is a system that is designed and programmed to destroy all of the gauze sculptures, one by one. This action will occur in real time during the exhibition, from its opening day until its closing, allowing the audience to observe the different stages of transformation of the matter.

This project was developed during a residency as part of a Summer Sessions residency at V2_.
